KEEPING FAMILIES TOGETHER
& FINANCIALLY STABLE

IJLEF’s membership program is designed to help families resolve legal, social and financial issues by prevention, that is, through educational seminars and consultations with learned attorneys and professionals.

Additionally, IJLEF’s partnerships with the chamber alliance of the New American Chamber of Commerce (NACC), the African American International Chamber of Commerce (AAICC), and the Hispanic American International Chamber of Commerce (HAICC) facilitate our goal of Keeping Families Together & Financially Stable.  The business seminars of the chamber alliance and its annual business conference, the Multicultural International Business Expo, educationally empower our membership. These seminars and conference are all free to attendees.  To assist our non-profit organization to achieve these goals, we ask that you make a donation.

Keeping Families Together & Financially Stable fundraising project is a project of the Immigrant’s Journal Legal & Educational Fund, Inc. To assist our non-profit organization to achieve our annual operating budget of one hundred thousand dollars, we ask that you make a donation.

Why donate to the Immigrant Journal's free Citizenship Drive, the "Deportation Inoculation" Program? Founded in 1998, the Immigrant's Journal Legal & Educational Fund, Inc., is a New York City legal advocacy organization, with a mission that focuses exclusively on promoting and advancing the rights and opportunities of low-income immigrants and their families. Its Citizenship Drive was launched in collaboration with the law office of Figeroux & Associates; since that time, thousands have successfully gained their citizenship, and their children, derivative citizenship.

Additionally, we use multiple strategies to carry out our mission, including our membership program, free legal consultations on all legal matters for members and non-members, policy analysis and advocacy, training, and educational materials written for a broad range of audiences. Our diverse volunteer staff has decades of experience in three primary areas: immigration law, workers' rights, access to health coverage, and other public benefits.
